Anyone seen the Hillary Clinton whorefest that is Saturday Night Live lately?  The episode with Tina Fey was appalling (and not just because the show is as funny as a Vietnamese monk setting himself on fire).  The show began with a heavyhanded, laugh-free "satire" of the debates which bore no resemblance to reality, featured piss-poor impressions of everyone involved, and shilled shamelessly and ineptly for Hillary, who was portrayed as the sole voice of reason surrounded by a world of idiots.  Then Tina Fey was given the pulpit for a "comedy" editorial address to the camera which once again was completely devoid of humor, bore little relation to reality, and which was an even more saccharine homage to Her Ladyship.  Made me want to puke.

I'm aware this message may be poorly received as the comedians involved are peers of Blieden, and possibly even personal acquaintances.

I agree, but the "Bitch is the new black" comment was pretty damn funny.

I thought it was unfortunate because while it seems as if it was intended to say that being a bitch is fashionable and cool, it contains the double entendre of claiming that "bitches" are the new "blacks" and therefore a "black" President like Obama would be boring old news while a "bitch" president would be hip and cool.  Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but it seemed like a possibly intentional sub-meaning which would be an unacceptable statement outside of the context of a "joke."

Wow Hammy.  You really dug deep on that one, and I don't even think you're reading too much into it.  I just never thought of the meaning beneath the meaning.

I've never met Tina Fey, incidentally.  And you know me.  I wouldn't be offended either way because deep down I know you love all the comedians and want to have snuggle parties with them.

Yeah, good call on the double meaning, Ham.

Oh, and for the record, I would totally have a snuggle party with Tina Fey...and Hammy...aw, Hell, even Bleiden.

You haven't snuggle partied until you've snuggle partied with Paula Poundstone and Milton Berle.
